PHYSICAL SUPPORT . POSTNATAL

Your body did something extraordinary. It deserves proper care.

Expert postnatal physiotherapy , whether you're 6 weeks or 6 years postpartum.

Provided by Susie Rasul - Chartered Physiotherapist, HCPC registered

WHO IS THIS FOR

It's never too late to get the right support after birth.

Whether you've just had your six week check and been told everything is fine — or you're a mum with a toddler who has been quietly managing symptoms for years; you deserve a proper assessment of how your body is doing.

So many women put their own recovery last. They manage the leaking, the scar discomfort, the back pain, the feeling that things aren't quite right and assume it's just part of having had a baby. It doesn't have to be.

GOOD TO KNOW

You can bring your baby or toddler to your appointment, just let me know when you book. The clinic is based in Heaton Moor SK4 with parking directly outside.

WHAT I COMMONLY TREAT

You might be dealing with…..

Pelvic Floor Concerns

Leaking when you cough, sneeze, jump or exercise. Urgency, frequency or a feeling that things aren't quite right. All very common, and very treatable with the right support.

Diastasis Recti

Separation of the abdominal muscles during pregnancy. Often misunderstood and poorly managed — but with the right assessment and exercise programme, significant improvement is possible.

C- Section Scar

Tightness, sensitivity, numbness or discomfort around your scar. Scar tissue management can make a real difference to how your scar feels and functions even years after your surgery.

Returning to Exercise

Not sure what's safe or when? I'll give you clear, personalised guidance on returning to the activities you love — running, gym, sport — in a way that supports rather than stresses your recovering body.

Back & Hip Pain

Mums with toddlers - I see you. Lifting, carrying, bending and the general physical demands of motherhood take their toll. You don't have to just push through it.

Painful sex

Not sure what's safe or when? I'll give you clear, personalised guidance on returning to the activities you love — running, gym, sport — in a way that supports rather than stresses your recovering body.

"Had a C-section? You absolutely still benefit from a postnatal assessment. You carried a baby. You went through pregnancy. Your pelvic floor needs attention too — and so does your scar."
