Your body is changing.

You deserve expert support through it

Specialist womens health physiotherapy for women in perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

All physiotherapy services are provided by Susie Rasul, Chartered Physiotherapist — HCPC registered, CSP member.

WHO IS THIS FOR

Menopause changes more than you might expect. And most women navigate it without proper support.

The physical changes of perimenopause and menopause - the joint pain, the pelvic floor changes, the uncertainty about exercise; are rarely talked about openly. Many women quietly manage symptoms for years without realising that specialist physiotherapy could make a significant difference.

Whether you're newly perimenopausal and trying to understand what's happening, navigating prolapse or bladder symptoms, recovering from gynaecological surgery, or simply wondering what exercise is safe for your body right now- this is exactly what I'm here for.

I'm 47 and navigating perimenopause myself. I understand this from the inside as well as the clinical side and that shapes how I support you.

WHAT I COMMONLY TREAT

You might be experiencing...

Prolapse Symptoms

A feeling of heaviness, bulging or dragging in the pelvic area. Prolapse is more common than most women realise — and physiotherapy can significantly improve symptoms and quality of life.

Bladder & Bowel Issues

Leaking, urgency, frequency or difficulty emptying fully. Hormonal changes in menopause directly affect bladder function — and there is so much that can be done to help

Joint Pain

Aching, stiff or swollen joints that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Oestrogen plays a significant role in joint health — and the right exercise and treatment plan can make a real difference.Heading back after maternity leave feeling less confident and unsure how to be both the professional and the mother you now are.

Post-Hysterectomy Recovery

Returning to exercise and daily life after a hysterectomy needs careful, informed guidance. I'll help you rebuild your pelvic floor strength safely and confidently at the right pace for your recovery.Feeling flat, overwhelmed or demotivated. Sensing that something needs to change but not knowing where to start.

Endometriosis

Pelvic pain, painful sex and the physical impact of endometriosis can be significantly helped by specialist physiotherapy — working alongside your medical team to improve your quality of life.

Exercise Guidance

Not sure what's safe or beneficial for your body right now? I'll give you clear, evidence-based guidance on the right kind of movement for this stage of life — and what to avoid and why.Pelvic pain, painful sex and the physical impact of endometriosis can be significantly helped by specialist physiotherapy — working alongside your medical team to improve your quality of life.

“Many women tell me they thought they just had to put up with it. They didn’t realise their symptoms could be linked to menopause, or that support and treatment options were available. Helping women make sense of what’s happening to their bodies is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.”
