These Terms of Service apply to all physiotherapy services provided by Susie Rasul, HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist, trading as Maternity to Menopause.
1. Scope of Service
Maternity to Menopause provides physiotherapy assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and physiotherapist-led Pilates classes for women across the reproductive lifespan, including pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and menopause.
Physiotherapy services are:

Delivered by a HCPC-registered physiotherapist

Provided in accordance with current evidence-based practice

Focused on musculoskeletal and pelvic health

Designed to support physical recovery, function, and long-term wellbeing
All services fall within the professional scope of physiotherapy practice.
2. Bookings & Payments

All appointments and classes must be booked in advance via the designated booking system (e.g. Bookwhen or the Maternity to Menopause website).

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

Non-attendance without notice will be charged in full.
3. Health Information & Consent

Clients are required to provide accurate and complete health information to ensure safe and appropriate physiotherapy care.

Physiotherapy treatment will only be provided with informed consent.

Clients have the right to ask questions, pause, or withdraw consent at any time.
4. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All personal and health information is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with:

Professional and ethical standards for physiotherapists
Information is stored securely and only shared where legally required or with the client’s explicit consent.

5. Medical Disclaimer
Physiotherapy services are not a substitute for emergency medical care.
Clients are advised to contact their GP, NHS 111, or emergency services if they experience:

Sudden or severe symptoms

Worsening or unexplained pain

Red-flag medical symptoms
Physiotherapy assessment does not replace medical diagnosis where this is required.
6. Participation & Responsibility

Clients are responsible for following physiotherapy advice and exercise guidance to the best of their ability.

Outcomes cannot be guaranteed, as progress depends on many individual factors.

If symptoms worsen, clients should stop the activity and inform the physiotherapist.
7. Changes to Services
Maternity to Menopause reserves the right to:

Update services, pricing, or availability

Make reasonable changes to class schedules or delivery methods
Any significant changes will be communicated where possible.

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time.
